At the Photonics Makeathon 2019, the participants of the annual Photonics Days hat the chance to get active themselves and develop individual concepts for questions relating to photonics. Tinkerers and hobbyists used the opportunity to put their know-how to the test until late at night. The next day, a jury of experts awarded prizes for the most innovative ideas. The event took place on September 17th, 2019 in the Fraunhofer IOF and was organized by the Lichtwerkstatt Jena.
