The Abbe School of Photonics (ASP) is proud to attract an exceptionally high amount of public funding in support of professional careers within the educational program. To benefit the ASP further still, substantial financial support is provided by federal and state programs to improve our infrastructure, administration, and our continuous support of students at all academic levels.

In addition, ASP gratefully acknowledges financial support for selected doctoral research projects from different types of scholarships from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the European Union, the Thuringian government, the Carl Zeiss Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), as well as from our industrial partners.
