Women in photonics 2013
The photonics industry is one of the most dynamic growth sectors in Thuringia. Yet, women in leadership positions are still the exception. Now, however, many young and excellently educated graduates are waiting for their chance to start a career in research and in the high-tech industry in the coming years.
On June 5th, 2013, Master's and doctoral students had the chance to meet female company leaders and lead scientists, to exchange experiences about the role of women in leading positions and to create strategies for a successful career.
